From the creators of Spriggan comes a tale of nano-machines, cybernetic assassins, powerful telekinetic opponents, and a secret organization dedicated to bring forth the next evolution of man!
Volume #1: The Claws That Catch (Eps #1-3)
Meet Ryo Takatsuki, a normal high school student. Normal, that is, until he discovers that his arm has been secretly replaced with a powerful nano-machine driven weapon called "ARMS"! Now, his ordinary life is turned upside-down as a mysterious organization seeks to obtain his power by any means possible!
Volume #2: The New Battle (Eps #4-6)
The ARMS boys are back...and this time they're on their home turf. The Egrigori will stop at nothing to get their hands on ARMS, and now they're pulling out the big guns. Meet the Chapel Twins - young, intelligent, deadly. With the help of their ultra-powerful cyborgs, Plus and Minus, the Twins convert the high school into their private gameboard. Now Ryo, Hayato and Takeshi must find and rescue Takeshi's sister from the cyborgs... before the cyborgs find and destroy them.
Volume #3: Eyes of Flame (Eps #7-9)
The ARMS boys are getting their act together... and they're taking it on the road. After a busy day at school they head home to regroup with young Al Bowen in tow. Ryo is reunited with his mother, Misa, and Hayato returns to the far less tranquil existence he shares with his grandfather. But Keith's cryptic invitation to visit Abumisawa has left the boys with an uneasy feeling, and so they decide it's time for a road trip to Hayato's hometown. Little do they realize that they aren't the only ones interested in a trip to the country... or that the country may have a few more surprises for them than they bargained for.
Volume #4: Tulgey Wood (Eps #10-12)
Things are really starting to heat up in Abumisawa. The ARMS boys finally gain entrance to the Egregori lab, but once they’re in, the wisdom of an old adage "Be careful what you wish for..." suddenly becomes all too horribly clear. True, the mystery behind their creation is revealed at last, but how dearly will this information end up costing them?
Volume #5: All On A Summer's Day (Eps #13-15)
There’s No Place Like Home... Yeah, right! The ARMS boys have returned to Aisora City, but "back to normal" their lives are not. As Ryo, Takeshi, and Hayato try to come to grips with their devastating experience at Abumisawa, they face a new set of challenges.
Volume #6: Won't You Join the Dance (Eps #16-18)
Everyone loves an amusement park – but not when it’s full of superhuman psychos out to kill you! Ryo survived his encounter with Volf... barely. Now Kyklops is up at bat, and things are looking grim. Has Ryo really figured out a way to defeat Kyklops’ laser vision, or is he two seconds away from resembling a funnel cake – fried to a crisp? Even if Ryo does manage to get the better of Kyklops, Twister Carol is eager to show him how she got her nickname. Topping the bill is the leader of Ex Armis, Cliff Gilbert – a.k.a. The Devil Cliff. His ruthless tactics, combined with awesome powers, make this one battle you won’t want to miss!
Volume #7: The Man At The Helm (Eps #19-21)
Ever get that feeling that the whole world is out to get you? After a less-than-ideal day at the park, the group heads back to Misa’s house, with the Ex Armis in tow. While they are considering their options, other anti-Arms factions are on the move... and trouble is really starting to close in. Meet Gance Gall, one of the Egregori’s most decorated (and deadly) colonels. With 80 years of field experience packed into a sprightly, 30 year-old body, Gance has not just youth on his side, but also an elite team of soldiers called the "Red Caps," who put into motion the so-called "Snark Hunt" that has Ryo and the others running for their lives.
Volume #8: Twas Brilig (Eps #22-24)
Takeshi finally uncovers the true scope of White Rabbit's powers and not a moment too soon. A bomb atop Aisora Tower reminds him that time (and explosives) wait for no man. Ryo's got problems too - after tracking Gauss to the local stadium, Ryo figures he has the Red Caps leader cornered at last. But Gauss still has a few aces in the hole... Between the Special Forces Unit and a potential secret weapon, both Ryo and Jabberwock are about to be put to the test. Will it turn out to be their final exam? Hayato, facing off against the Gryphon of Keith Red, learns how lucky he is to have a friend like his own White Knight. It's the mother of all grudge matches in this, the eighth installment of Project Arms. Watch the concrete fly!
Volume #9: End of the First (Eps #25-26)
All good things must come to an end... but what about the bad things? Jabberwock is under attack and unless Ryo can find a way to counter the venom of Gance Call, his chances look grim. Hayato gets in touch with his inner weapon as well. After a bit of the old silent treatment, White Knight owns up to what's been bugging him - a dark secret that threatens the fabric of what holds the "Arms" together. Finally, after a hard day's work, the "Arms" are off to meet Kei's boss, the founder of the Blue Men, and it isn't your average quarterly review either. Blue has some wisdom to impart... but does he raise more questions than answers? Only time, and travel, will tell. Strap yourself in for the emotional rollercoaster end to the first series of Project Arms.
